DEBA DAYCARE POLICIES
Prior to enrollment parents are required to deposit in full an enrollment fee of $200
.Parents are required to have turned in all paperwork and required documents before their child’s first day at daycare.
Children must have a current immunization record and examination by a physician on file.
Parents must notify daycare prior to enrollment which days their child will be in attendance (i.e.- part-time or full-time and days of the week).
- Daycare hours are from 7:00 am to 6:00 pm-Monday through Friday.
- Late pick up will result in a late fee. $5 for every five minutes late.
- Parents must sign in and sign out children upon arrival and pick up daily.
Parent’s have the option to choose one of the following payment plans:
– Bi-weekly
– Weekly
– Monthly
*Parent’s who select a monthly payment plan, this indicates payment at every 4 weeks.
Payments are required in full, even upon your child’s absence from daycare, holiday closings, and vacation.
Absence due to vacation is required the week before.
Payment method accepted is check only.
Parents must notify daycare of their termination of daycare services one month prior to departure on the first of the month.
If parents want to leave mid-month or anytime after the first of the month, parents must pay the remaining fees for the month. (i.e.- departure may 15th ß parents must pay for the remaining 15 days as well)
If Deba is unable to care for your child please understand her assistants are adequate substitutes that are trained and experienced to take care of your child.
Deba Daycare is closed on holidays found on the Holiday Schedule Sheet.
Parents are required to pay for holidays.
Snow days: Daycare will be closed upon federal government closings due to snow.
*Please note if there are harsh weather conditions we advise you to not attend daycare for your safety.
Deba Daycare has a total of 2 paid vacations per year. Each vacation is one week long and daycare will be closed during this time. Vacation dates will be given notice two months prior.
Families taking vacation are required to pay despite their absence in order to ensure their place in daycare.
Children with fevers, severe runny nose, experiencing vomiting, diarrhea or coughs must not attend daycare for at least 24 hours.
Children who become ill at daycare, parents will be notified immediately and must pick up their child from daycare within one hour. Your child must be symptom-free for 24 hours in order to return to our facility.
Deba Daycare does not administer any medication, including over the counter medications.
Children who need to use any ointments (i.e.- diaper rash or butt cream) or sunscreen will need to complete an additional form.
Deba Daycare is an approved USDA Child Care Food Program Sponsor. Deba serves freshly cooked breakfast, morning snack, lunch, afternoon snack. Parents must supply formula they prefer. Deba Daycare provides target band formula and 1% and 2% milk.
Children with food allergies must bring their own breakfast, lunch, and snack.
Vaccination records are required prior to enrollment.
With each new vaccination, a copy of the newly updated record must be submitted.
Parents are notified of any injuries via telephone immediately and during pickup.
Injury reports are written at the time of an injury.
Toys are sanitized weekly. Floors are mopped and vacuumed daily.
Sleep sacks, blankets, crib sheets, towels, and blankets are washed every Friday.
Dirty clothes are returned to parents daily.
